INGREDIENTS
2 cups water
2 large Tbsp red miso
2 Tbsp flour
1 Tbsp yellow mustard
2 dashes tamari
1 tsp toasted sesame oil
1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Milk as needed
Sea salt and pepper, to taste
DIRECTIONS
In a large bowl, whisk together first six ingredients, until no longer lumpy.
Heat olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Gradually add mixture to frying pan, stirring frequently. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until thickened. Add milk if required for texture. Add salt and pepper to taste.
To make a thicker gravy, add more flour. Add more water or milk for a runnier gravy.
